Lacoste Produced Limited Edition for Colette’s 10th Anniversary


This spring, the famous Paris boutique is celebrating their 10th anniversary by partnering with the Lacoste which produced limited edition series of sneakers and polo shirts featuring logos of both collaborators in their designs. Combining the Colette’s trendsetting dogs Caperino and Peperone with famous Lacoste croc chasing around, this limited edition collection features 14 different designs for polo shirts and one design of trainers.
“To see our dear Caperino and Peperone play with the big brands is one of our little personal pleasures,” said Colette art director Sarah Lerfel. “It is an old dream from 2004 to have their paths cross that of the famous crocodile. This encounter gave birth to a series of products typical of Colette: some ‘never-seen,’ ‘very limited,’ and therefore ‘collector!’”
The story behind the design of this collaboration is playful one. Each polo design is telling small part of the story how dogs and crocodile met. Crocodile is being chased from its territory by dogs until finally he reclaims his iconic place. During 14 days from March 1st Colette will launch one polo design each day. Polo shirts come in an exclusive plastic packaging and are sold for 140 euros. For the sneakers, there are two different designs on each foot. On one foot dogs are chasing crocodile, and on the other they are being chased. Sneakers are sold for €120 euros. These limited editions are sold from March 1st at Colette boutiques as well as their website.

Fiber amplifier is an all-optical amplifier device. Owning the properties of high reliability, low loss and wide bandwidth, it has been widely used in high-speed optical fiber communication systems. It is also one of important devices in large-capacity all-optical communication systems. Because of more types of fiber amplifiers, the study based on fiber amplifiers themselves is very rich. For some technology more mature fiber amplifiers(for example, erbium-doped fiber amplifier(EDFA)), it is essential to improve the efficiency and quality of signal amplification by studying their performance.At the first of this article, domestic and foreign research on fiber amplifiers is expounded in detail, and working principle and performance indicators of fiber amplifiers are introduced. The mathematical model of optical fiber and fiber amplifier is set up and verified. The working principle, structure and working characteristics of fiber amplifiers are almost comprehensively summarized , and the direction of development of fiber amplifiers is discussed. As single ultrashort optical pulse is magnified by EDFA, it is also influenced by high-order nonlinear effect, especially by the Raman scattering. This influence is studied.

The paper mainly studies and compares the generic scheduling algorithms used in wired and wireless network. Aiming at the shortcomings of classical RR and MAX C/I algorithms, the advanced MAX C/I algorithm is proposed to get the balance of fairness and throughput, and then an class-based uplink service scheduling scheme is designed for IEEE 802.16d MAC, which considers both the QoS of every service and fairness and system throughput. Finally, the OPNET simulation platform is constructed to evaluate the performance of the modified MAX C/I and the class-based scheduling scheme. The simulation results show that the scheme satisfies the QoS requirement of every service and improves the fairness of the users and system throughput.
